Fred Seeley

Fred Seeley began his career in the real estate field in 1966 with responsibilities as Facilities Manager for Bank of the Commonwealth in Detroit, Michigan.

In 1973 Fred was hired by Perry Drug Stores Inc. as Senior Vice President of Real Estate and later joined the Board of Directors. During Fred's employment at Perry, the chain grew from 20 retail drugstores to over 300 drugstores, 300 Perry Auto Parts stores, 15 A.L. Price super discount drugstores and 4 Perry Home Health Care Stores. His responsibilities included site selection, due diligence, acquisition, lease negotiations and management, facilities management and supervising the real estate department.

Fred Seeley spent a short time working for developer R.A. DeMattia Company and in 1989 joined Lakritz Weber Company in brokerage.

Fred serves on the board and is past chairman of the Oakland County Economic Development Corporation and the Oakland County Business Finance Corporation. He is also a member of the County Business Roundtable, chairing the Economic Development Committee.

Mr. Seeley started in his current role in 1992 and now serves as President of Ludwig and Seeley, Inc. Aside from his administrative responsibilities with the firm, Fred works directly with several retail and retail service firms in their site selection process and disposition of excess properties.





Richard Ludwig

Richard Ludwig began his real estate career in 1971 selling single family and multi-family residential properties in and around the City of Detroit. Richard spent ten years in the commercial real estate business before founding Ludwig Real Estate and Investment Company. In 1985 Richard co-founded Ludwig and Seeley, Inc. (formerly Ludwig and Karas, Inc.) and together with longtime friend and business partner, Fred C. Seeley, operate one of Michigan's most well known and respected commercial real estate firms.

Mr. Ludwig's background and responsibilities within the company include shopping center leasing and development, acquisition of land for development, investment syndication, sale of income producing properties, property management and financing.

Richard also serves as first vice president on the executive committee and board of directors of Kadima, and is active in other non-profit agencies.





Max Goldman

Max Goldman joined Ludwig & Seeley, Inc. in 2002. Max was previously with the Grubb & Ellis Real Estate Company for four years. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of Marti Walker, Inc., a junior apparel chain, for 32 years. During this period Max was involved with the leasing, buying and selling of Marti Walker's real estate, as well as all financial activities related to the operation of the business.

During Max's tenure, he was responsible for all operations, buying, merchandising, and Human Resources for all 32 stores throughout the State of Michigan.

Max is a University of Michigan graduate with a Bachelor of Arts and MBA degree.

Max has been in the industry for ten years and specializes in vacant land development, site acquisitions and land assemblages for large national big boxes. Max also represents local and national corporations for their site acquisition, dispositions and developments. Max assists his clients in the evaluation of each site, providing the clients with the proper mapping, site research and city evaluation.





Kent Butler

Kent Butler joined Ludwig & Seeley, Inc., in 1992 as a sales associate. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in department stores, specialty stores, and owned a small chain of men's sportswear stores. Kent is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Business Administration.

Kent specializes in shopping center leasing focusing on landlord representation. He also represents national, regional and local tenants. Kent is an active member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers). He also serves on committees for the Michigan Idea Exchange.





Matthew C. Seeley

Matthew Seeley joined Ludwig & Seeley, Inc. in 2002. Prior to joining Ludwig & Seeley, Inc., he was Vice President of Shareholders Relations for the Lifesoft Corporation, a software development and custom kiosk company. Later he started Creative Webb, LLC., developing custom web applications. He was one of the founders of Phoenix Technologies International, Inc., developing kiosks for the 36th District Court, family resource libraries and tracking software for UAW/GM. In 2000, he became partner in Magnus Software, Inc., developing custom software and internet applications.

Matthew is concentrating on restaurant properties and focusing on tenant representation. He provides his clients with market analysis and studies, mapping of sites, aerial mappings, and demographics to provide them with detailed market information about potential sites.

Matthew is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.




Morry Levin, Esq

Morry Levin joined Ludwig & Seeley, Inc. in 1999. Prior to joining Ludwig & Seeley, Inc., he was a practicing attorney for ten years in private practice, specializing primarily in criminal law and divorce litigation.

Morry specializes in property management. He oversees the property management portfolio and leasing of managed properties and is active in the disposition of excess properties for a national retailer. In addition, he is active in commercial retail brokerage, representing both landlords and tenants.





Bryan Weiss

Bryan Weiss joined Ludwig & Seeley, Inc. in 2006. Prior to joining Ludwig & Seeley, Inc., Bryan was the founder and Chief Operating Officer of Progressive Exchange Services, Inc., a Qualified Intermediary for 1031 Exchanges, and a practicing attorney. Prior to Progressive Exchange Services, Inc., Bryan practiced law for the firm of Steven H. Schwartz & Associates, P.L.C. in Farmington Hills, specializing in labor and employment law and business litigation.

Bryan earned his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Michigan State University.




Bradford Grems

Bradford joined Ludwig & Seeley, Inc. in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in capital equipment sales for Durr Systems, Inc., a supplier to the automotive industry. Before Durr Systems, Bradford spent six years as an engineer for General Motors in both a corporate and manufacturing environment.

As a sales associate, Bradford represents his clients in the sale and leasing of retail properties. He also works with national and regional tenants in their land acquisition and site selection processes.

Bradford holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

Brian comes to Ludwig & Seeley in the spring of 2008. He began his career in real estate in 1992 first working for the Canadian Lakes Development Company and Century 21 White House Realty in the Canadian Lakes area. In 2004 he started Metropolitan Home Inspections LLC providing residential & commercial inspections and consulting services. Simultaneously Brian provided buyer representation services for Gobba & Associates, LLC

Brian graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in Marketing and Sales and was an active member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity.

Brian specializes in shopping center leasing focusing on landlord representation. He works with national, regional and local tenants providing his clients with market analysis and studies, mapping of sites, aerial mappings, and demographics to provide them with detailed market information.

Vince Borowski joined Ludwig & Seeley in 2009. Prior to joining Ludwig & Seeley, Inc., Vince worked for 32 years in banking as a lender and manager of commercial lending at Michigan National Bank, Republic Bank and Michigan Heritage Bank. His many clients and customers were owners, developers and managers of commercial real estate and he brings this long time knowledge and experiance to Ludwig & Seeley.

He is attuned to both the needs of lenders and their customers and can provide a unique perspective to effectively and efficiently provide assistance in difficult times. This understanding and leadership can help all parties get to agreement on what’s possible and reasonable.

Vince is a graduate of Wayne State University.





Heather Speier

Heather Speier joined Ludwig & Seeley, Inc. in 2003. She has an Applied Science Degree majoring in Graphic Design with seven years experience in Graphics Design and Marketing.

Heather's responsibilities include all areas of marketing, publication and design. She prepares all location maps and aerials, demographics and geographics for all the brokers in the office. In addition, Heather also makes updates on the company website and does extensive market studies.

Heather is an active member of CREW of Detroit.




Erin Seelig

Erin Seelig joined Ludwig and Seeley in 2006. Erin comes to Ludwig and Seeley with over 20 years of administrative experience. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in Property Management for New Plan (now Centro Properties Group), a national REIT. Erin assisted the Vice President of Property Management for the Midwest region.

Erin is the Executive Administrative Assistant for Richard Ludwig and Fred Seeley. Her primary duty is to provide organizational support by assisting Richard and Fred with their projects. This includes Property Development, Investor Relations, Acquisitions and Property Management. She also assists other team members with their projects and transactions.

Tommy joined Ludwig & Seeley, Inc., in 2003. He is a Soft Coat Wheaton Terrier. Tommy is four years old. He enjoys eating treats, playing with co-workers and walks outside of the building. Tommy also enjoys sleeping under desks and chewing on anything he can find.
